I believe this was my first documented work in music. Puppen was my biggest project ever. I found the band and involve in every project since the beginning days at 1992 until we disbanded the band in January 2002. More on that later. However, Not a Pup EP was our first release.

My aim on this album was main song writer & arranger and also a co-producer. I still shred my guitar playing high tones, still into choruses and guitar solo.

It was recorded in MMM Studio Jakarta in 2004 and was released in late 2005. This mini album contains our original 7 songs. Here we produced one of our biggest hit Freedom to Defecate and was an anthem in most of metal heads in Bandung those days. This song is usually on our last song in live repertoir, and most of those performances was unfinished.

This was my concrete expression of my youth days. Full of pride, anger, frustration, and energy. I was lucky to be in the band and found a good team that lasts for 10 years. This has been my unforgettable moments in music.

Oh, the boots on the album cover was actually lost. We were playing a gig in Cianjur, West Java with fellow underground bands. When we left hotel to the club, Arian, our vocalist (best lyricist around, ever!) left the boot at the roof of our van and forgot to bring it to the car. Sad to say, he must say goodbye to his beloved Doc Marten boot.
